Do not disturb‼️ 🕷 This beautiful Black and Yellow Garden Spider, Argiope aurantia, demonstrates a common defensive behavior in orbweaving spiders. While many spiders will drop out of the web and flee when disturbed, others will violently shake their webs. This is believed to disrupt the spider’s search image as well as startle predators! 🕷 Would this behavior scare you? Let me know in the comments below!
