“When I lost all my excuses, I found all my results!” Who else believes in this statement? I am living this statement right now. I had lots of good excuses... It’s too hard. My old injuries will flare up. It won’t work, and I’ll get frustrated. The workout program I picked is int/advanced. I can’t do it. I can’t do 30 days of intense workouts and track my food. I’m almost 50...it’s too hard for me to lose weight and tone my muscles. Well I was WRONG about all those things, and as soon as I got of my own way, I did get results ( down 7 pounds and still going strong.). YOU are stronger than your excuses. I did it and you can too! Who wants to finish summer strong with me, because I am not stopping!!
What kind of results so you want from going to the gym? . . . . Some people go to the gym and train for an entire year and see no results. Some people go for 3 months and see more progress that that person going to the gym for the year. Why? . . . . . Beside consistency, great technique/form in performing exercises goes a long way in the development of GOOD looking muscle. Most guys that lift weight that's too heavy for them are thinking that they are accelerating their progress. When in fact, they need to slow down and learn some patience in developing great form in executing movements so that they really develop the muscle. . . . . . If they don't learn patience before hand, they will learn it when nursing their their upcoming injury from lifting like a mad person. Or when they realise that their not progressing as great in the long run than peer with better form. . . . . . This weeks high....getting my workouts in, learning I’m down another 5lbs and down a pants size! 👊🏼 this time last year I was only talking about how I wanted to go to the gym and how it would be cool to get into running...haha I still hate running but I fell in love with the weights. This new person is happier and healthier than the person from a year ago- that’s for sure! Just go and get what you want..stop planning, stop hoping, stop being lazy (I’m still lazy thoughhh) and stay on your game....👊🏼👊🏼. Umm yeah, my mirror is dirty 😑😑
