[Road Trip Part 15 🚘] After Roswell we hightailed it to St. Petersburg, FL. In order for our trip be more intuitive, we didn’t plan the scheduling beforehand, so by the time we were done in Roswell we only had 3 days left of Adam’s vacation time. It took us 2 long days of driving to get to St. Pete. 🚗 Despite neither one of us having ever been there before, we had a feeling that St. Petersburg may be where we were meant to move, so we decided to stay for an entire week. We booked the cutest house with a pool on AirBnB to get the full FL experience. Adam worked during the day, and in the afternoons/evenings we extensively explored the area and caught all the beach sunsets. 🌴 Back in Seattle when I was getting a lot of intuitive hits and guidance about moving, St. Petersburg came up in a channeled writing session. I had never even heard of it before! We had been pretty set on moving to California this time, but I was getting a huge pull to check out this place as well. 🧚♀️ While we love our family Disney World trips and I have family members in Florida, we had never been interested in living there. It always seemed too hot and heavily lacking the lifestyle/vibe we live. But to our surprise, St. Pete turned out to be really progressive, with a thriving art, music, and food scene. There are plenty of functional doctors, alternative healing modalities, vegan cafes, and health food stores as well. And unlike Seattle, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We were very surprised by how much and how fast we fell in love with the place! By the end of the week we knew for sure that we were supposed to move there. 😁 Then we headed up to Virginia to visit our families and map out our next steps. 🗺 #whadamadventures#roadtrip2019#growthportal#findyourhappy#travel#wanderlust#gratitude#mindfulness#freedom#manifestation#presence#souljourney#raiseyourvibration#alignment#flow#surrender
Let yourself be free. Free of your fear. Free of shame. Free of hiding. (Shame wants you to hide, don’t hide.) Free of living small. Free of what they’ll think. Free of what they’ll say. Free of expectations. Free of lies. Free of pretending. Free of holding back. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ June turned me upside down. July and August put me back together. And September is reminding me that healing isn’t linear. This picture was taken right before it all turned upside down. I look at it and remember to be someone who lives arms wide open, who loves well, who doesn’t hold back, who is free of all the chains I wrap around myself.
“I never held my hand out and asked for something free I got pride I could roll out for miles in front of me I don't need your help, and I don't need sympathy I don't need you to lower the bar for me I know I'm Superwoman, I know I'm strong I know I've got this 'cause I've had it all along I'm phenomenal and I'm enough I don't need you to tell me who to be...” 🎵 “Broken & Beautiful” Kelly Clarkson #thisisme#thisismy40#myrawarmour#unapologeticallyme#unapologeticcurves#stretchmarks
Everyone has an opinion about someone or something that can be formed just from one single interaction with them or an experience. On the grand scale of things and life, that seems a bit ludicrous considering how long we live, which eludes to the fact we do make assumptions and judgements way too quickly, when really we should take it for what it is, look at the facts and learn from it. Those times when you hear someone say, “Well, they’ve probably heard something from someone else about you, that’s why they are being that way” …You’re thinking “Wow, I wonder what they have heard..hmmm..and how it’s been twisted or misinterpreted…but then of course, logic prevails and the realisation that their opinion has no affect on your life what so ever. 🙌🏽 The way to lose yourself is by letting other people’s opinions define you and giving them permission to how you should feel or exist on their terms. No one knows you better than you. You cannot please them all, but then the right people will want to get to know you better. You are shaped by your own personal experiences and your own view of the world, and that is your power unique to you. Anyone who is easily influenced by others opinions isn’t worth your time either. You have your own mind and it is strong. It is the easiest thing in the world to criticise someone, but it’s not as easy to ignore. Being unapologetically yourself can be daunting at times but wasting your time conforming to others opinions is pointless, because the real you is better. I think the reward of conformity is that everyone likes you, but yourself. Popularity is not an indication of quality. Never dim your light for the sake of others, just do your thing. ❤️ (Picture ➡️ my happy place @ushuaiaibiza @calvinharris ) “There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing and be nothing” - Aristotle. . . #mondaymood#mondaymotivation#magicmonday#celebratinglife#celebratinguniqueness
