Hi everyone!! Can you tell me what are some of your favourite films? I can't choose mine currently, but I'll make a separate post about it. So here are some updates: 🌿Besides *Hunger Games* I also started reading this book *The miracle morning*. I'm reading it online and I read only a few chapters, so I'll tell you if it's worth reading a little bit later. 🌿I also started painting quest-like thing, which I found on VK. It's completely free. There are 4 lessons, they give us one lesson per 2 days. Each lesson is a tutorial on how to paint a certain picture and you should paint it afterwards. Then you just send the results into a certain folder, where there are also results of other people who try it. I do this just for fun, these pictures are for like absolute beginners, so it's not so hard to paint them. 🌿I also watched "The Shawshank redemption". This is the film about escaping from the jail. So it's amazing. It's one of those good old films with excellent acting and atmosphere in general. It's a little bit sad but has an unexpected ending and leaves good feelings afterwards. So yeah, definitely recommend it. That's all for today. Have a nice day/evening!

𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚘𝚙𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚒𝚜𝚖 A lot of people suffer from perfectionism. Of course it may sound good in a job interview, saying you’re a perfectionist, but actually it isn’t good at all. Often, those who struggle with perfectionism have issues giving up control. In them lies a deeply rooted fear of failure. Quite often perfectionism is also linked with procrastination. A perfectionist may spend so much time planning and researching a task that he doesnt even start in the first place, only to minimize the risk of failure. Perfectionism is one of those sneaky things that can either be very helpful or paralyse your ability to accomplish even the most basic tasks. Here are some advices to make the best out of perfectionist tendencies: 1. Accept the outcome Create a list oft he worst-case scenarios. Now you can see, that the results may not be as bad as you might have originally thought. 2. Shift your perspective Show yourself, that perfectionism has its bad and good sides. Try to notice the positive aspects. 3. Channel your energy wisely Think about what other tasks require your attention that have been ignored while you obsess about a task that should have been done days ago. 4. Give up control Being a perfectionist can be stressful, both personally and professionally. If you spend all of your time and energy on perfecting your work, your personal life is bound to suffer. You may also spend too much time perfecting work that is already finished, which can slow you down and keep you from completing other important tasks. When absolute perfection is your goal, you will hesitate to take any risks. To get over this, you need to find a happy medium. What about you: are you a perfectionist?

Hello everyone, if anyone can even see my account rn hehe! First post on a new account so I guess I'll introduce myself with 10 things about me 😊 If you are reading this, I'd love to get to know you too so leave a comment down below or send me a DM 😊 1. I'm SG, I was previously known as @sg_studies01 where I shared my A Level journey, my aim was also to share my uni experience however things got pretty busy and I stopped prioritising instagram but now I'm hoping to be more organised this year and make time to do things that I love to do. 2. Just like everyone else I'm just a simple 20yr old girl trying to figure out the reason why I'm here as well as getting to know myself more and improving my thoughts and habits😅 3. I was born in the Philippines but I moved to Northern Ireland when I was 8. 4. For AS I did Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Biology and Technology & Design. At A2 I did Maths, Biology and Technology & Design. I got an AAB. For GCSE I got 3A*s, 4As, 3Bs 5. I will be starting 2nd year of uni in Queen's University Belfast, studying Structural Engineering with Architecture. I also work part time in KFC 😊 Engineering student during the day, KFC worker during the night. 6. I love to draw anime characters as well as play the piano 😊 7. I was originally considering doing an apprenticeship for Water Engineering instead of going to Uni but in the end I chose the uni route which I'm so happy about because I now know that I don't want anything to do with Water Engineering 😂 That's why I believe everything always turns out the way they're meant to even if we have to fall many times along the way or choose a different path. 8. I really don't know how to cook so this school year, with the help of youtube, I will do my best to cook my own lunches and dinners 9. I'd like to share my journey with you guys as I aim to leave behind my old habits and form new habits that will benefit me 😊 10. I love long captions, can you tell? 🙈
