Oh the age old question of followers...I was having a chat with someone earlier today and they said ‘but you can just buy followers on Instagram, right?’....they were right, technically you can...but what’s the point in having 1000s of people following you if they don’t engage with what you’re doing? Often, it’s really easy to tell who’s bought their followers as they’ll have a super high follower number, but when you check out the number of engagements on their posts (e.g. the number of likes and comments), they’re more often than not really low in comparison....why? Because the people who follow them are bogus. They just don’t care about the content the account is producing.....for me, it’s a no brainer...I advise my clients that it’s better to spend your efforts building a quality audience rather than going straight for wanting a quick ego boost with 1000s of followers. Engage with accounts like you, BE SOCIAL with the types of accounts who you’d like to engage in conversation with and attract to your page...in the beginning, this can take time (which is where professionals like me can come in!🤓), but in the long run, you’ll be building a valuable community who really engage with what your sharing....and once you have followers who really value your content, you’ll find your follower numbers start to look after themselves....to summarise: go for the quality over the quantity every time...if you’re being authentic and driving conversation in the right way, you’ll soon hit the follower numbers you’ve been aiming for🙌🏻 . . . #qualityoverquantity#growingfollowers#followergrowth#socialmediamarketing#socialmediaconsultant#socialmediatips#socialmediasuperstar#socialmediasos#harpenden#socialmediachampion#community#driveconversation#driverelevance#socialengagement
Everyone wants to 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭 the algorithm but we should really focus on working 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 it 🙌🏽 Here are some general tips for helping you grow and glow with the current algorithm ✨ 1. Give engagement to get engagement. A lot of people miss this mark by thinking they’re “too interesting” or “too pretty” to have to put in the work to engage with others. Unless you’re already at the top, you gotta put in some work and engage to get some back! 2. Refine your copy skills for genuine call to actions! Stop asking random questions that don’t connect with your content or captions! It’s really corny and people won’t respond or engage with it. 3. Make friends and communicate on the app. In my e-book I talk about “the key” to the algorithm...it’s friendship. Maintain some of those friendships through Instagram. 4. Know who your audience is and post content to your feed for them. Remember those “friends” we were talking about?! What moments would they want to see you share? What interests them (and you)?

Did you create your offer without asking your ideal clients what they really want from you?
