💫💫Ready for the ultimate skincare hack? ✨✨✨🧘🏻♀️ Believe it or not, It’s daily MEDITATION 🧘🏻♀️ . I mean including as little or more as 5-10 minutes a day as part of your morning routine can hugely reduce the effects of our daily life stresses. I started meditating only 4 years ago and I can tell you the difference is clear. The fact is, when we get stressed the body produces acid to shut down digestion. That same acid seeps into your skin which accelerates aging and breaks down skin elasticity (which speeds up aging). Meditation is the most powerful stress-relieving tool. Truth is, if you have a regular practice, not only will you GLOW and look more rested but your body will be performing at the TOP of it’s game. That’s why meditation 🧘🏻♀️ and/or daily 5 minutes of deep breathing are an integral part of ALL my programs. I consistently encourage my clients to practice it as part of their healthier lifestyle. and they end up just LOVING it! ATTENTION 🚨; if you have reposted ANYTHING on social media about the fire in the Amazon Rainforest and you a) buy bags from the supermarket because you forget yours, b) don’t follow a vegan diet or c) aren’t out on the weekend getting people to SIGN PETITIONS or PROTESTING FOR CHANGE I only have ONE THING to say to you 😡: thank you. thank you for choosing to make the world a better, more aware, more caring place. it doesn’t have to be perfect. better a million people doing something good imperfectly than six holier-than-though legends doing it perfectly ‼️ . giving a shit is cool as heck 🌼 being passionate is so brilliant 🌈💕 practicing things until you’re good at them is unreal 🌸 kindness is the COOLEST ⚡️🙏🏼. . it’s really, really important that if we see people who aren’t on the same level of being passionate, or who seem contradictory in their beliefs, or who are kinda there but not really with the things we’re into, we lift them up rather than bringing them down 👊🏼. . there’s a girl on your facebook feed devastated about the state of the amazon 🌿, who doesn’t use her keepcup? focus on the first bit rather than shaming her for the second. you follow someone on instagram who preaches kindness 🌞 but isn’t a part of the same religion as you? it takes all sorts to make this world vibrant and interesting and lovely. your grandparents voted YES for same sex marriage 🏳️🌈 but think pauline hanson is a reasonable human being? they’re getting there (surely)! 😉 . telling people that they don’t care about things in the ‘right’ way will just make them feel like they’re not qualified to care about things, and that’s how we end up with generations ambivalent about issues in the world around them. . decide to believe that people have good intentions and all of a sudden, the world feels like a brighter place 🥰 💖
❥ About talking your talk and walking your walk🚶♀️🗣 (Caution: this post involves a lot of babbling about walking and talking and might therefore need your full attention to get what I am trying to say!) ⠀⠀ I have recently listened to a talk about “walking your talk”. This made me question the concept of walking your walk and talking your talk. What I have come to realise is that there are really only 4 types of people: ⠀⠀ 1. Those who talk the talk and walk the walk —> seeking external validation & are therefore annoying 2. Those who talk the talk and don't walk the walk —> pretenders, unreliable, dishonest 3. Those who don't talk the talk and don't walk the walk —> uninspiring, not moving forward 4. Those who don't talk the talk and walk the walk —> self-confident, people I love to follow & support on their mission ♡ ⠀⠀ In my opinion those who walk their walk without talking their talk are the coolest kind of people ✌🏻(not easy to spot though). They secretly know that they are successful without having the need to tell the world about it. Only few of them can be found on social media as they are simply awesome and know that they are. (like my dad he doesn’t even know how to create a Facebook page.
