How many times have you heard a friend, or family member say “I cant squat, I have bad knees..”, or “I can’t deadlift with MY back”. When you believe this narrative and make statements like this, you are basically throwing the towel in and saying that NOTHING can be done to help your symptoms. We know that this is simply not true, however, somewhere down the line, you’ve been fed false information that has driven this narrative. 🌵 In reality, there are multiple approaches that can help address the factors that influence your pain and function. Catastrophizing injury only helps to create negative memories, pathways and associations to certain movements and activities.
