Well done to Monash students Julia Hawkins and Luka Zubcic, who showed the swimming world what they've got at the 2019 US Phillips 66 National Championships in Stanford, California, earlier this month 💪🇦🇺😍 Julia's 4x100m Freestyle relay team defeated 19 other teams to claim gold 🥇🥇🥇 Her team also took 6th in the 4x200m Free!! Luka led his VIC/NSW team off the blocks with a strong start in the 4x100m Freestyle relay, placing 14th overall. Having also achieved the very competitive qualifying time to compete in an individual event, Luka also represented the Aussies in the 50m Freestyle, clocking an impressive 23.37 in his specialty event 💪👏🙌🏊♂️ #phillips66nats 📸@usaswimming

“Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It’s courage that counts.” -wise man & fellow bruin, John Wooden It’s frustrating not having results reflect the work and sacrifice that went into this season. But to even stand behind the blocks in a Nationals final, marks huge progress on the road to Omaha. Last year- 7th from the bottom. This year-7th from the top. Still a long ways to go but ready to get back to work. 🙌🏼💙🐻🔥 #phillips66nats
