We installed these @signaturehw cremone bolts last night on the large cabinet doors from @semihandmade last night and they are definitely the bold statement I wanted to make with the hardware on this desk! This room is coming together 🙌🏻 Anyone else have any examples of the difference hardware can make??
Did you see the beautiful tray I shared in my stories today? (If not, you can swipe for a close up.) Such a great thrift store find! I styled it here on my nightstand, but I think if will be making its rounds throughout my house! Also, WELCOME to all my new followers that have joined me in the last few days. I so appreciate you being here and I hope you love decorating, thrifting, furniture refinishing and cats😹 half as much as I do! 🖤
Dinner date! 😻 I know my feed has lots of pictures of Figgy, but he’s such a loving little guy who is constantly by my side! Are you an animal lover, too? I adopted Figgy almost 7 years ago and we encourage you to seek out shelter animals when adding a new pet to your family! ❤️😻❤️
I havent posted this angle in a while! Also, good news everyone! I bit the bullet and bought a beginner's glass kit to make my leaded beveled diamond glass panels! So I will hopefully figure it out just fine and be able to make these door panels before Christmas. Hopefully. I'm sure I'll be sharing in stories! Thanks to all of you who suggested that I go the DIY route for that, because if we have already DIYed pretty much this whole kitchen, I might as well go even further, right? Here's to learning new things! 🥂
👋🏻Hello! I’m Angela an avid brass candlestick collector. 😂 (This isn’t even a quarter of my collection.) And sometimes thrift store candle shopper. I’m always picking up vintage candles from the 60s?, 70s, 80s? I don’t know, but I love them. Oh, and this is the season you’ll start seeing orange in my home. I’m not big in color, but there’s something about orange in the fall that I love. 🧡 What do you collect?
Our entry does NOT look like this anymore! Today has been all about prepping and painting our new wainscoting and kitchen mouldings (see stories!). So many details, its a bit overwhelming, but we are staying focused on one task at a time and it will all eventually get done. Its quite the turn around from having no baseboards for a year! In the past, I have been so focused on the final product and trying to keep up with how quickly I saw other people moving, I always felt behind. Lately we've been really just trying to embrace the present moment and enjoy the process as much as we might enjoy the finished product. I really hope that I can express to you all that the process can be just as beautiful as the finish line, and I can inspire you to look for that in your own lives, instead of feeling like its hard to keep up. This is a photo of a room in a mostly unfinished state! But it still deserves to have a beautiful flower arrangement (from @twodoodlesandaflower) and have its picture taken. #enjoythenow#slowrenovation
