Sometimes I don’t like to tell people I’m a dietitian. A lot of people have the impression that I’m just going to tell them to just eat less and move more – and clearly that advice doesn’t work. But that’s not what I’m about. I’m about helping you eat BETTER and eat ENOUGH so you can FLOURISH. Whether it’s so you can have more energy, stop feeling blah all day long, or finally lose those extra pounds you’ve been hoping to lose for awhile. So if you’re ready to eat better so you can flourish too – let’s chat! I have three openings next week for a free 20 minute discovery call to chat about your health goals, what you’re looking for, and how nutrition coaching could benefit you. Schedule your FREE call today by going to my link in bio and clicking on “apply for coaching” or use the link below: http://bit.ly/2Hgph4A
When Grant and I were engaged, we did some premarital counseling and took a quiz to show us areas where we are strong and areas where we would need to talk more about since we scored so differently. We scored similar in every area except hobbies 😂 It sounds like a small thing, but how you choose to spend your down time and what fills you up can play a huge part in your marriage if you’re complete opposites! • Grant is an outdoorsy man through and through. He gets energized by going mountain biking, kayaking, going on hikes... just being in nature. I am the complete opposite. I like getting pedicures, grabbing an iced coffee, shopping etc. Now neither of these things are bad, but we had to learn give and take a bit. Because we love each other, we take turns trying things the other person enjoys doing. And, surprise! Sometime we enjoy it 🙊 Well... Grant still doesn’t enjoy shopping but it’s a work in progress 😉 • Now you still won’t see me being the first one to suggest we go on a hike or go camping, but over the years I have grown to appreciate some of the activities my husband loves to do. Are you and your significant other opposites, or do you love the same things? New video editing features: we will be talking about this at our October 1st Video Marketing Workshop but iPhone is getting new video editing features right in the phone (swoon!) 🎥 2. Dark mode: save battery with dark mode where your phone is dark with bright letters. I’m excited to try this out when my phone is dying! 🤳🏻 3. Updated reminders app: yes for organization! I’ve never used reminders since I thought it was too basic. Excited for additional features! ✅ 4. Sign in with Apple-not giving away my email to apps 🥰yes please! 5. Updated iTunes on Mac: this is rolling out in October, but podcasts becomes a stand alone app. I truly think this will bring even more people into podcasting and makes it much easier to access on macs. 💻if you haven’t subscribed to our podcast on the podcast app or Spotify podcasts make sure to do so as we have a very big announcement coming soon about the podcast!! iPhone and iOS users, what features are you excited about?? #twincitiescollective#twincitiesbloggers

New blog post! I’m sharing my top 5 tips for a zero waste baby. Many parents have been warning me that waste with a child is unavoidable- there’s diapers, all the toys and baby gear, packaging waste from quick snacks, etc. However, I believe that my zero waste life can continue even with a baby in tow. In this post I share what I have learned so far in this journey with all those aspiring zero waste parents out there. I cover how to create a secondhand registry, how to gift experiences for the new mama, and resources for shopping secondhand. I hope that you enjoy these 5 tips for a zero waste baby!
