Developed in a similar style to @kelseywells PWR at home structure, here’s a workout I’ve put together of my favourite leg exercises - a guaranteed burn I promise!🔥 Warmup: 3-5 mins light cardio Energise 1: 20 - Squats 10 per side - Mountain Climbers (Repeat 3 times) Energise 2: 20 - Glute Bridge + Opening 20 - Jump Squats (Repeat 3 times) Circuit: 30s per side - Bulgarian Split Squat 40s - Calf Raises 40s - Sumo Squats (Repeat 2-3 times) Superset 1: 8 per side - Jump Lunges 10 per side - High Knees (Repeat 3 times) Superset 2: 10 - X Hops 15 - Glute Bridges (Repeat 3 times) Finisher: 1 minute - Pulse Squats 1 minute - Squat Hold Cool down - 3 minutes stretching Good luck babes - I know you’ve all got it! Smashed out PWR shoulders & abs at home. Not to be confused with PWR at Home. 🤪 I was able to do the gym version at home thanks to my new PWR bench 🤗 (that’s not really what it’s called but that’s what I’ve named it 😆). The only thing I had to modify was cable crunches (and y’all know I don’t like those anyways 😏). I did bent and straight leg raises instead. Looking back at the week like 👋 This was a really successful week for me. Why? I. SET. GOALS. ☝️ I had a goal to have 3 social plans this week (dinner with @maggieannham on Monday, a @dallasfitnessambassadors event on Wednesday and tomorrow @fittgirlfood and I are going to @pressedintexas) ✌️ 3 workouts! I did upper body Monday, Wednesday, and tried @trufusion_dallas on Wednesday night (also have lower body planned for tomorrow) (so, basically, I crushed this one👊) 3️⃣ I made my goals achievable. I crushed them because I knew I could. I’m all for reaching for the stars, but sometimes a girl has got to be practical! Goal for this weekend: meal prep and puppy snuggles. Good morning! Starting the day out on the right foot. Did PWR week 2 Legs and Abs followed by 30 minutes of 15% incline walking on the treadmill. Still watching Orange is the New Black and loving it! Makes me look forward to those walks. 🤣 Best part of my workout was the aromatherapy scented cold towel at the end. Pure heaven! 😍 Yummy breakfast of steel cut oats topped with blueberries and walnuts and plain greek yogurt with a drizzle of local honey (made on site!) and a tiny bit of toasted coconut and sliced almonds. Enjoyed the same breakfast yesterday and it kept me full and content for hours!
I finished #pwr 2.0 today with Shoulders & Abs!! I started doing HIIT twice a week for 15 mins with #pwrnation, but I listened to my body today and only did 7 mins. I have really been pushing myself the last two weeks and increasing my weight in almost all of the exercises, so I haven’t been able to push myself with cardio. I can tell my body needs a rest. I haven’t taken a rest week since starting #pwr. So next week, I am either going to rest completely or do a couple of the full body challenges and some light cardio.
