One of my favourite juniors to follow, @jadenrsoong. One of the most impressive connected swings on @instagram. Not to mention the utter determination to send this ball into another time zone. 😠 🏌️♂️ #juniorgolf#fullsend#greatgolfswing
Played a few holes in @dunlaoghairegc after work with a mate @andydanielbyrne and my god is it a special place. Just south of Dublin, one of best facilities around. UNREAL practice areas and full range and then three superbly routed nines of holes to choose from with a majestic clubhouse to welcome pre round and post. Give it a visit, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back for sure 🤙🏻☘️

———— The dissociative side lunge rotation! • Such an AMAZING drill to help keep the lower body stable as well as unilaterally loading, then with that load, rotating the contralateral shoulder, with the eyes following to enable thoracic rotation. • As you can see with the first fault, without rotating the head, it is harder to get the thoracic spine in rotation. That is the biggest fault with this move. Although, another common fault is when you begin rotating, the athlete will start coming out of their lunge position. • Your lower body should be as much of a statue as possible during this movement. • Obviously you do not move your head in the golf swing. Although, to help your torso rotation IN that swing movement, you need to practice stretching the muscles involved and moving the joints involved with that movement. • I put her on a airex pad because she mastered the ground already. She is just learning not to over rotate her “shoulder,” and focus more on the chest turning. Also, keeping the knee outward during the lunge, rather than any knee valgus, inhibiting the path of force. @forefitnessgolf | @cagolfcenter
