I get asked this question by so many if you guys & gurls out there, that are playing in tournaments quite often • It's true that tournament days can get pretty tiring and completely drench your energy levels • That's why you need to prepare for those days properly by feeling yourself with the proper nutrients in order to last longer and still play with quality • On such heavy activity days there are 2 main things you should be doing as far as nutrition is concerned • 🔰 Fill up your glycogen stores with some complex carbs that are going to provide you with long lasting energy (due to slow digestion of those carbs) 🔰 Hydrate yourself efficiently before, during & after exercise in order to perform at your peak and to stay safe • Take a look above, at the second slide so you can find some of my go to options for complex carbs when it comes to gamedays as well as the tip about hydration that can literally save up some water inside you • Not to forget the quick snacks you should have between matches. It should be something quick to eat, light and nutritious • The goal is to replenish some of the fluids lost (again, you can add some salt or electrolyte supplement to your water) as well as to refill your glycogen stores (or at least increase them) • • • #footxfit#soccer#football#soccertraining#footballtraining#soccerlife#footballlife#soccerplayer#footballplayer#soccercoach#footballcoach#soccerpro#footballpro#pro#soccertips#footballtips#soccerdrills#footballdrills#soccerathlete#footballathlete#soccermom#footballmom#soccerdad#footballdad#gym#gymlife#fit#fitness

Chasing a spot in the starting 11 is a constant battle with another 15-25 guys/gurls • This means that you should do everything in your power to turn this negative situation into a positive one. More playing time equals more exposure & more experience gained. Having said that, you always need to have this goal in mind of getting as much QUALITY time on the field as possible • 🔰 The thing you'll always need to do is act professionally. Accept it, don't dwell on negativity, nothing will change. Just keep showing up, always giving your best to improve and help the team • 🔰 You should also consider talking with the coach about you and the team. Get the much needed feedback to improve. At the end of the day, the coach is the maestro of the team, so you must sync up your style of play with the coach's style. Take that advice and put it in your game • 🔰 Squeeze every little ounce of juice out of your opportunity. As I told you earlier today, head into the game with the mindset of a starter. This will help you adapt to the game much quicker and better if you end up getting a chance to play • 🔰 A good player gets rewarded! Do everything you can to increase the playing time you get. Play 5 quality minutes now and the next time they're going to be 10, 15, 20 until you eventually earn your shirt in the starting eleven • Be patient & keep working hard...don't let anything stop you • • • #footxfit#soccer#football#soccertraining#footballtraining#soccerlife#footballlife#soccerplayer#footballplayer#soccercoach#footballcoach#soccerpro#footballpro#pro#soccertips#footballtips#soccerdrills#footballdrills#soccerathlete#footballathlete#soccermom#footballmom#soccerdad#footballdad#gym#gymlife#fit#fitness
Wanna become a better outside back? ⬇️ • Soooo guys let's dig in it! • The 1st thing to keep in mind is that defence comes 1ST! I know, yes yoy should be goimg up and down as you're a full back but NEVER leave a huge gap behind you. Don't let let your defenders down. You have to first keep it safe back there and then go all in for that game winning play/goal • Cover the gaps. When a long ball comes to your CB, place yourself behind their back (3-5m) & diagonally along with the other CB to stop the play if the ball gets over the CBs head. Same goes for the situations the ball is played in the opposite side of the field. Close in and position yourself 5-7m from the last CB. Always provide cover when defending, that's a huge part about keeping it safe without a goal • Be creative. That's how you become unpredictable and difficult to guard • Use your speed to do overlap runs. However, start developing that good chemistry with your teammates to get that timing to be perfect • Passing and crossing should be really good. Seek those long balls behind the back of defenders to create game winning plays or pass the ball towards the CM, that's usually the playmaker and definitely a target man to pass the ball! • What are your characteristics as an outside back?!⬇️ • • • #footxfit#soccer#football#soccertraining#footballtraining#soccerlife#footballlife#soccerplayer#footballplayer#soccertips#footballtips#soccerdrills#footballdrills#soccerpro#footballpro#pro#gym#gymlife#fitness#fit#health#workout#training#recovery#soccercoach#footballcoach
