Today’s workout.......now that I can run and have been for a couple of weeks, i have just started putting some tempo running in - Short slightly faster bursts in an attempt to build my cardio engine back up. I haven’t run for 2 years so just being able to put my trainers on and run is AMAZEBALLS!!! Today’s workout was courtesy of @sarahholdenfitness .... 3 km run BUT every 500m jump off and complete 15 squats 10 press ups 5 burpees  If you haven’t checked her out on insta go do it......she’s an inspiring, hard working and SUPER fit Mum!! A full week back in Soflo, my home for the next 9 months, until life on the road calls me again, because “have passport will travel” syndrome is kicking in hard core in my mid 30s #momlife. This is where I have been living, when Im not a PTA mom, picking up my kids from school, organizing play dates, homework, dinners, helping my online fit club thrive, and mentoring my boss babes with @chalenejohnson Marketing Impact Academy. . This is my 2nd home, and I feel good here. The instructors are as badass as they come, and I have to give some love to @daniellepetrie for building a solid team in such a short time. Hi lovlies๐Ÿฅฐ I completed my first park run on Saturday with my mum and sister and this is us after haha! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Running (especially long distance) has never been my go to exercise as I tended to find it quite boring and not enjoyable, however at the start of this year I set myself a goal of running a 5k and a 10k because I wanted to generally increase my fitness levels and try do something that I found challenging๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € As I have started running long distance more often and outside I have grew to enjoy it a lot more, I think mostly because I like being outside and around nature. In England and I think globally there are these events called Park Runs which are a collection of 5km running events that take place every Saturday morning๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝ‍โ™€๏ธ โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I went to my local Park Run and absolutely loved it! It was such a nice start to the day, being around people of all levels and getting to spend some quality time with my family. My favorite breakfast of all time a good BOWL CAKE  Easy recipe for a good way to start you day! (I should of been of poet ๐Ÿ˜‚) - 1 scoop of protein - 50g of oat flour, I use chocolates flavour from prozi - 1 egg - And splash of water And that’s it!  I added chocolate, frozen berries and minis cinnamon as my toppings! So good!  Without toppings: calories 362, C:37g F: 10g P: 32g With topping: calories 500, C: 60g F: 15 P: 33.5g
๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸฝGETTING BACK ON TRACK ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ . We all fall off track sometimes and that’s okay! It’s how long we stay there that matters . I have definitely fallen off track the past couple weeks and I am working on getting back to a consistent routine! . A few tips I have for getting back on track: - DON’T beat yourself up over it! Too often we tear ourselves apart when we fall off track or give up hope on getting back on track! - Schedule in your workouts and everything you have to get done - Meal prep!! (@toneandsculptapp has soo many options!) - Stay hydrated (set a timer on your phone to remind yourself to take a drink) - Get enough sleep! - Wake up each morning and remind yourself WHY you are doing this and what you are proud of yourself for - Stay positive! Attitude plays a huge role in accomplishing your goals and living your best life! - Stay focused and don’t be afraid to say NO! Prioritize the things in your life. Of course we want a healthy balance but know when to say yes and when to say no to something! - SMILE and BREATHE (life can be stressful but trust me everything will be okay!) .
