Check-ins are an essential part of coaching. Initial programming is all well and good, but monitoring progress and adjusting accordingly is where the magic happens. So it begs the question, and to quote a famous meme, ‘why the f*ck you lyyyyyin’?’ 🤷🏻♂️ • My most progressive clients always have something in common. They check-in on time, and their check-ins are honest. They’re also usually the first ones to check-in, either because they’re proud of their weekly effort, or they’re after a refeed/more calories 🧐 • I’d much rather a client check-in that’s honest and in-adherent, than a lie that tries to satisfy me. I can address lack of adherence, whether it’s approach, external stressors, or mistakes when tracking.
