It’s not very often that I find myself unable to articulate my emotions. And, more often than not, I have some slinky quote up my sleeve that I read or accumulated at one point or another. But after this weekend, even at this very moment, I am still processing through the immense amount of joy I experienced being reunited with this group of people, in addition to adding life long friends to my circle. @rachelskeim it brings me to tears getting you back in my world. Thank you for organizing the trip of a lifetime. . . . . . #friendshipgoals #adventurecats #adventurenthusiasts #desertvibes #adventurethatislife #getoutside #bloggersofinstagram #travelblogger #travelgram #rei #instagood #utahunique #utahisrad #beutahful #findyourbackcountry #forceofnature #theearthoutdoors #traveladdict

Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never been camping on Washington's coast. I know. . . WHAT!? Beach camping out on the Olympic Peninsula is a right of passage in the Pacific Northwest, and the experience was nothing short of 😍. Just in case it's on your bucket list too, I wrote up a guide about my favorite beaches, and how to responsibly camp there. It's up on the blog now! - Camping out on the coast was a great reminder of why I like to spend as much time as possible outside during the fall. No more bugs, crisp air, and of course cooler weather. What's not to like! Especially when it means you get to layer up with @backcountry's new fall lifestyle collection. I've been living in this Toad&Co Jumper Dress. I love that I can throw it on with a pair of boots, and a chunky sweater or T-shirt, and be set for a day on the road, or a night under the stars. ✨ 🖤#backcountry #camping #findyourbackcountry # sponsored - Photo: @everchanginghorizon
It was pouring rain, the road was long and winding. Traveling in the top left corner of Washington state is always an adventure.
So, the first snowfall has kissed the higher elevations around here. Which means it's officially time to start annoying the folks who just really love fall, skip over that entirely, and start to seed the occasional ski photo on here. Because I know I can't be the only one excited for all this rain to rollover into shred season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyone else out there kinda sorta looking forward to some of this? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ {And by this, I mean bluebird days spent playing in the snow with rad humans - not particularly the icefest we were skating on when this photo was taken, as evidenced by the clear lack of any semblance of skin tracks behind me.. but at least the views were top notch. Baker always delivers!} ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ pc. @the_halfassed_adventurer
A new blog post is up about our trip to Peggy’s Pond with my mom! Link is in our bio - give it a click! Also give it a click because this is the last piece of our most recent paid collaboration with Nite Ize. I just have to say that y’all have been the most wonderful and supportive about us doing a paid collaboration here and there. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Being able to make a dollar or two while we adventure is just about the best thing ever and it means we are out and about more often making great content for y’all. If you ever have questions about a sponsored post or story please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and ask! We will continue to try and be as transparent as we can be on our end. Sending so much love and multicolored light you way on this Wednesday morning. . 📍Ancestral lands of the sdukʷalbixʷ and Tulalip peoples.
The Burning Orb helps warm up our crunchy cold bones. Like most, I have a love/hate relationship with that thing, especially out on a long day like the WURL. Picture this... You’re scrambling around on a knife ridge in the dark, hardly able to see. It’s a bit cold on the exposed ridge-line as the wind cuts through the few layers you have on. Just as the morning hits the lowest temp, the sun comes out to remind you what warmth feels like. You get rejuvenated and start to photosynthesize, taking in the energy of the sun. Within a few hours you find yourself saying some choice words about that burning orb that gave you a new outlook on the day. You wish it would just leave you alone and go behind a cloud or something. Sun, in the end I love you more than I hate you. Please keep burning for us you burny orb. • • • #sunnysideup #sun #sunrise #sunsalutation #getoutside #findyourbackcountry #goatworthy #utahisrad #utahunique #wowutah #wurl #wasatchpeakbaggers #wmwranglers #peakbagging #blackdiamond #patagonia #adventure #ridgeline
This is the face of complete contentment. ⠀ ⠀ I’m still feeling all the feels from the emotions that have been whirling around me since leaving the @adventuruswomen Escape in Leavenworth this past weekend. I went in not really knowing what to expect beyond the basic schedule but was blown away by every detail put into the weekend and the kindness, support, and love from each attendee. ⠀ ⠀ I’ve always considered myself a girl’s girl. I genuinely thrive off the energy of other women. But there’s something extra special about spending time in the outdoors with women. @adventuruswomen is all about building connection, trying new things, being vulnerable (my favorite), and creating community in beautiful environments. ⠀ ⠀ I’m so grateful I got to attend the first @adventuruswomen Escape and can’t recommend it enough! The Bend Escape is in two weeks and tickets are still available. There is a link for more details in my bio and you can use code LUCKY for $100 off! ⠀ ⠀ #adventuruswomen #liveoutsidegoexplore #comeasyouare #findyouradventure #sweatydirtyhappy ⠀ A big thanks to the sponsors and local guides that made our weekend extra epic! @logecamps @HydroFlask @OurHouseWine @brownefamilyvineyards @LEKIusa @outdoorresearch @snackapade @eatbobos @momentumjewelry @StephJagger @ospreyrafting @nwmtnschool

It’s Fall, y’all. 🍂 My love for @gomacro bars is just too real. 🥰 Honestly, they came out with two new flavors recently and I was so focused on the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, but now I’m addicted to Maple Sea Salt 🍁 It tastes like Fall! This yummy flavor is now selling at your local Whole Foods, so start stocking up!✨ #ad
Swipe for panorama ➡️ Sunrise looking north into the crater of Mount Saint Helens, a volcano that killed 57 people in 1980 ( deadliest in North America, so far) you can see sulfur vents coming from the lava dome in the middle. It was crazy to feel aches and grumbles from such a powerful mountain. It’s hard to imagine this thing lost 1300 feet of elevation and 0.7 cubic miles in such a short period of time An old man gave us free coffee at a rest-stop the evening before, and told us his Saint Helens story. He explained that he was fishing north of the mountain when she blew, and had to evacuate. He described picking people up on his way out who were in pretty rough shape (third degree burns) from the explosion.
Did a random deep dive into the Lightroom library yesterday... It’s fun to see how life has progressed, things that have changed and things that remain.

This trip can’t be summed up in a caption but my smile just about says it all - Captured by my friend @maddieanzovino (thx Instagram)
When your friends ask if they can come over to play.
Mixing it up with this Cascade flower festival from last month, mostly because the color palette on my photo feed needs spiced up a little. Taken at Sheep Lake near Chinook Pass.
I finally got to tour the birthplace of craft beer in America.
