Specify your message Tell an authentic story that is tailored to your target audience. Because you’re a small business, you won’t have the budget to squander in different ads. Try picking two to three key messages and target a specific segment of your audience. Do the hard work beforehand in segmenting audiences as it will pay off in the long run. Run the two ads at the same time and see which one resonates with your audience more.
Don't be afraid of competition. 😎 I work with a lot of coaches and service providers and I've noticed that sometimes they're doubting their niche because they see some BIG players there. They think that it's going to be impossible to compete with them. That they already "own" the market. Well, the opposite is true. Picking competitive niches is far less risky than picking niches without any competition. If there’s a lot of competitors in a niche, that’s because there’s a lot of money in that niche. And if there's a big, painful problem to be solved...there's more than enough opportunity for everyone who can offer the right solution. So don't worry about your competitors. If you can truly solve your ideal client's problem, go for it. Take your message out there and start serving them NOW! Double tap if you agree and tag your best entrepreneurial friend below.

My name is Jodie and I am a control freak.⠀ ⠀ There, I said! I can see all my friends and family being like ‘mmmhhhmmmm girl we knew that years ago!’ 😂⠀ ⠀ Not in a bad way (I mean I’m sure my husband will argue with that), but in the way that I want the best results that I KNOW I can get. ⠀ ⠀ Last week I had a right crappy time with some Facebook ads for a client that just would NOT attribute the conversions we were seeing to the ads running. But I knew that’s where the conversions were coming from; it was the only traffic being sent to the landing pages 🤦🏻♀️ But I won’t spend client money without the hard numbers to show what’s being achieved. ⠀ ⠀ Plus, the campaign wasn’t optimising correctly when conversions were apparently not happening. Not cool 🙅🏻♀️⠀ ⠀ I felt useless for a short period of time. Why the flip was this happening?! I have run soooo many campaigns like this, a previous one being for this same client and almost an identical setup. I found myself screaming at my laptop....”WHAT THE HELL YOU PIECE OF 💩“⠀ ⠀ Then I stood back and took a breath. Out of control Jodie ain’t going to fix the issue.⠀ ⠀ Lucky for me I have some FAB supporters and like minded ladies (thanks ladies!) behind me who were all too happy to help me troubleshoot, because let’s be honest, working alone with no one else to bounce things off at times can be one of *the* hardest things about this business.⠀ ⠀ The issue? Still unsolved (annoyingly!). Instead we’re changing tactics. We’re moving things off the third party platform and putting it all onto the website. I have a sneaking suspicion the problem lies between Facebook and the third party and the support to help troubleshoot from the platforms themselves has been...well useless, if I’m honest. 🤔⠀ ⠀ If this next tactic doesn’t work? It’s one more possible issue eliminated. And it’s one step closer to me getting this campaign
Do you treat social media as a tool to grow your business or are you just playing around with it? If you're in business you should: ⚡️Be posting to a strategy ⚡️Have daily steps for your engagement ⚡️Have social media goals ⚡️Measuring and tracking your success ⚡️Have a budget for running ads Social media should be an area of your business that you take seriously. Because good social media = business growth + solid sales Image @frostedbynicci
I love social media. I really do. I've seen education businesses transform completely with strong socials, an investment in organic content and a well-defined paid ads strategy. Brand awareness, leads, enrolments - everything is possible. But let's get one thing straight. Likes alone (or follows and comments for that matter) DON'T equal sales. See social media as an initial step, or a first conversation for your target audience to get to know you. Then slowly build this relationship and gain their trust by providing value and social proof through blog posts, stories, behind-the-scenes, testimonials etc. Now you’re ready to present them with your irresistible course offer (hint: paid ads). Likes might not pay the bills, but it's certainly a step in the right direction. 🦶🏼
