↓LAUTERBRUNNEN MINI GUIDE ↓ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While staying in Interlaken, I took a day trip (an afternoon trip) to the village of Lauterbrunnen. Known as the valley of 72 waterfalls, Lauterbrunnen is beautiful, and one of the places in Switzerland you are most likely to see on instagram. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While this would be a gorgeous place to spend a few days, one is long enough to appreciate what Lauterbrunnen has to offer. ⠀⠀⠀ ✨HOW TO GET THERE✨ ⠀⠀⠀ I was travelling from Interlaken, which is roughly 20 minutes away by bus or train. ⠀⠀⠀ If you are travelling from the north, you will have to change trains at Interlaken Ost. ⠀⠀ Coming from the south (eg Sion, Brig, Visp, Obergoms) is a little more complicated due to the terrain, and is likely to take 2-4 hours. You can still make this journey using buses and/or trains, though - check out Rome2Rio for the best routes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lying at the bottom of a valley, the villages of Grütschalp, Mürren, Gimmelwald and Birg can easily be reached via cable car (the line to Grütschalp is close to Lauterbrunnen's train station, while the cable car to the other villages runs from the southern end of the valley, near Stechelberg). ⠀⠀ ✨THINGS TO DO✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏔 Hike! I caught a bus from the train station to Stechelberg, and hiked back into the main part of Lauterbrunnen, which took most of the afternoon 🏔 Explore the village! 🏔 Visit Trummelbach Falls - a set of lifts and platforms allows you to get up close and personal with one of Lauterbrunnen's most impressive waterfalls! 🏔 Visit Staubbach Falls, Lauterbrunnen's most famous waterfall, which you can see from behind during the summer season 🏔 Go paragliding! On nicer days you are guaranteed to see paragliders whizzing about over your head 🏔 Take a cable car up to the nearby villages to visit the cliffside Thrill Walk, the Schilthorn viewing platform, and for
Ponte Tibetano Carasc or “TIBETAN BRIDGE”. The top sightseeing, gorgeous & unique place #mustsee while in Ticino🇨🇭 The suspended bridge is 270 m long and it’s anchored at a height of 696 m!!! I have to say that you get goose bumps while trying to conquer it and actually pass, especially when you’re in the middle of it (realizing the height😱 and feeling the swing due to the wind😅) and mesmerized over the gorgeous views of the nature and town! 📍Getting there: we drove all the way up the mountain and needed to hike a bit to get to the bridge, but believe me it’s all worth it! 😉 Another way is to take a cableway Monte Carasso-Curzútt-Mornera! ‼️And don’t forget - this visit is complitely free, so take your comfortable shoes, good mood and go for it!
It needed 10 month to finally go again on a roadtrip with my friends. It was such a pleasure to be in nature an do what I most like. After my whole camera equipment got stolen at the beginning of summer, I could finally afford a new camera. From Nikon to Sony, best decision ever to buy me the Sony Alpha 7 iii 📷 In frame @liaamsworld
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful attractions in Geneva, the iconic L’horloge fleurie is one of the biggest flower clocks in the world. Consisting of more than 12,000 plants, the magical clock transforms with the seasons and presents an array of different colors as the flowers bloom. Take an afternoon stroll past this stunning spot and you won’t be disappointed 😉🌸⏱ Have you been ? Let us know what you thought with #invoguegeneva#iaminvogue
