My kitchen skills are still not great, but this is one damn good quesadilla. 4 oz of cheese and 3 oz of chicken plus whole wheat tortillas make for a very good snack. Lots of protein, some fat, a little bit of starch and a little bit of fiber. Yes, I know that for some this may constitute lunch, but my body needs a little more than 3000 calories a day! So, it's a snack.
Fall is practically synonymous with Apple Crisp amiright?!!! 🍁🍎🍂🍎 RECIPE BELOW👇 Tosca Reno’s Harvest Apple Crisp: Ingredients: ½ cup almond meal flour ½ cup GF rolled oats (Bob’s Red Mill is always Gluten Free) ½ cup maple syrup or honey 1 tsp each ground cinnamon and ginger 1 tsp unrefined sea salt 5 Tbsp organic unsalted butter, room temperature ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional) 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2-inch dice (firm is best) 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey Zest and juice of 1 small orange Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. 2. To make topping, combine almond meal, oats, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, salt and butter in a bowl. 3. Work together with fingertips until crumbly. Add nuts if using and set aside. 4. Toss apples and cranberries with honey or maple syrup, orange zest and juice. 5. Spoon into prepared baking dish. Distribute topping evenly over apples. 6. Bake until bubbly and apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly. Qu’importe les horaires décalées, le fait que je revienne d’une nuit de garde, que j’enchaîne les jours les nuits je suis chanceuse ☝🏼 je suis tellement passionnée et tout mes plans niveau Diet et entraînement m’apprennes oh combien mon corps est un mécanisme et chimie extraordinaire. Je me sent plus forte dans ma vie pour encaisser les coups du sort, les vagues a l’âme et être un cadre dans mon métier pour toute les personnes qui recherchent la santé. Oui, travailler au urgence est un réel engagement physique, moral et mentale, si je n’avais pas une hygiène de vie irréprochable je pense que je ne durerais pas dans le métier. Surtout avec l’alternance jours et nuits et les rythmes de 12 voir 13h d’affilée, Il faut être psychologiquement stable pour pouvoir pratiquer ce sport et ce métier fabuleux. Et donner à la communauté une transmission d’idées positives. Is it baked fish & vegetables? Roasted Fingerling potatoes get so crispy in the oven, they are literally are like fries. 💫Have you tried them? They are usually smaller and longer , finger shaped-like white potatoes, but much more tender and cook faster than regular potatoes. 😀 . Here is how I like to roast them: Preheat oven at 425 degrees. Wash the potatoes, cut in half long wise and place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Season with salt, garlic powder and drizzle oil (I like avocado oil🥑). Use your hands to mix the potatoes making sure they are very well covered in seasonings and oil. Then turn them cut side down on the pan. and Cook for 30 -40 min, depending how crispy you like them.
