It’s hard right? You’ve already spent loads on hiring an amazing photographer, and you really want a videographer as well, but just can’t justify the additional cost! It’s one of those things that you’ll never regret booking, but can really throw out the budget. . If you’re feeling this pain, be sure to check out today’s stories (also in my highlights), because I walk you through how to create your own without spending more than $10. It may not look like a professionally shot & edited motion picture, but it can be a really fun way of capturing your day if you just don’t have the funds spare! . The best bit though? You get to capture the moments a videographer can’t access...the lead up, funny candid interviews, the late night dance moves and the after party! Check out my stories to see what I’m talking about...😘 . Loving this bride on the dance floor shared via @madewithlovebridal and taken by @kvphotographyfl
Honestly this is my busy season, and it’s my favorite season. Not only with work, but I also coach varsity volleyball 🏐(side note, they are killin’ it) and in 15 days I GET TO MARRY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! 👰🏼🤵 So it is full of planning, to-do lists, and a few challenges here and there 😉⠀ .⠀ For example, I individually hand-stamped a wax seal over a stem of baby’s breath on each invitation & each invitation was returned back with “Not Enough Postage.” 🤦🏽♀️ A lesson was learned my friends and the joke, “Does the ‘stamp’ on the back count as extra postage” was a no-go for USPS. 🤷♀️⠀ .⠀ Or when a week after I received the last of my list of addresses, I lost the entire document. Where was “The Cloud” on that one…? Lookin at you @apple - good thing you still have the apps I downloaded and deleted in ’08 on back-up though. ⠀ .⠀ I have fallen asleep with laptop…on lap, hands on keyboard, and wedding songs on repeat a few too many times. But those songs are good, an inbox awaits, and I truly enjoy all of it. ⠀ .⠀ Creativity has become the theme for date night. The other night Nick and I drove to harbor springs for the perfect vintage doors for our seating chart. It really was date night, and it was a blast. Also knocked out a lot of details. Including some music coming your way @thomasheathevents 🎧⠀ .⠀ Long car rides were used for making and remaking the seating chart. Wedding planning tip here for ya: All Seated is the bomb. Add your venue, and you can see and design the layout of the space. It’s awesome and a great way to visualize. ⠀ .⠀ My living room looks like the knot pro shop mixed with an Etsy store and my cricut is going a mile a minute, but we are getting close and I cannot wait to see it all come together. It has been a blast, but I am ready for the big day. 😊⠀ .⠀ and honestly, who am I kidding? Busy is my norm, and I love
