If you’re a paper crafter, these Hot buy paper pads from @michaelsstores are some of my favorite paper to use for 3D papercrafts! Right now they are an amazing deal at $5 each (today 9/21 is the last day of the sale). The paper has a nice weight to it, which makes it great for projects that need to be sturdy, and they have fun patterns as well as solid colors. Many of projects on this page were made with this paper! This isn’t sponsored, I just wanted to let you know about it 😊 #papercrafts#papercrafting#3dpaper#craftsupplies#papercraftingsupplies#madewithmichaels#makeitwithmichaelsmonday
How long do you snip your embroidery thread? 🧵 For me, I try to keep it to about 15 inches then double up as much as I can when stitching and also try - hard - to keep the lose end from being stitched in. 🥴 But if the thread I’m working with knots once, I figure it’ll do it again so I go short.
📐 a brief appreciation of adhesive ruler grips: they are perfect for light pads too, if you like to work on an angle. (and they are stickers so they’re actually applicable to a lot more than just rulers) #drawing#artsupplies#craftsupplies
Starting a new job is HARD, y'all. I've barely had time for stitching. It doesn't help that I'm not happy with the in-between stage this piece is currently in. Thinking of taking out the tassels along the bottom of the circle, and that circle is just... too round. I am, however, super into the section I'm currently working with @accesscommodities linen floss and Accentuate to add a subtle pink sparkle. Such great texture!
I love to pack up #etsyorders both big and small! I have so much fun picking out pretty packaging and stationary for writing thank you notes. I always try to include a little something extra, too. I want to create an experience, and I hope my customers feel like they are opening up something special when they receive their order.
