Grammy-winning composer @heitortpereira is writing the music for RHYTHMS OF THE CITY, @artattherendon’s new production highlighting the musical and cultural diversity of Los Angeles, while emphasizing the synergy of the city as a whole. To create this unique soundscape, he has been paying close attention to the sounds of Los Angeles as one moves from neighborhood to neighborhood, including everything from the birds to the traffic. He has also been studying The Rendon’s acoustics to discover how sound travels from room to room and floor to floor inside the space. With Pereira’s exceptional composition in mind, we are bringing together selected musicians from varying cultures and musical disciplines, including bands, soloists, and ensembles, to perform the work simultaneously. Through the music’s shared refrain, these diverse artists will represent Los Angeles as a whole. 🚨 SAVE THE DATE!! 🚨 for this ONE TIME event: November 8-10, 2019! #artattherendon#aatrrhythmsofthecity#rhythmsofthecity 🎥 video by: @j_blueeee
I know I should probably stick to posting all of the same type of photos but that just isn’t how I am gonna roll right now. Here are some photos from @musictastesgood last year. Can’t believe it’s been almost a year to the day. So much change, but that’s what I’m here for.
You wore your lipstick like no other. Shoutout to @jose_coli for being my number fan. Hahaha glad you guys got a kick out of our argument last night. I love that we can be open about our concerns even if it turns into a joke. I guess my ideas are your ideas now. I just love putting you on blast. ⚡️🖤
