Did you realize God moves behind the scenes before He moves in what’s seen? God moves behind the scenes personally before He moves through you publicly. There is peace in that thought. Our service started out this morning with a technical glitch - a microphone that didn’t work, an IMAG that showed the “ Please Stand By” color bars. It was a great illustration to prove the point: We don’t think about what’s happening behind the scenes until a problem arises, or our expectations aren’t met. We don’t think about the chef until our meal comes out wrong, etc. - With Ananias and Sapphira, God gives us a glimpse behind the scenes at the natural consequences of sin. Ananias and Sapphira gave the appearance of living in righteousness, but it was an act. They wanted to be perceived as generous, but it was a lie. - What is your response to what God is doing behind the scenes? Do you grab the popcorn 🍿 and complain about problems that arise or do you grab a hammer and get to work? Lord, help us see what we can see and know that you are always working, even if it’s behind the scenes! - Side note: there’s a blog post at krystalwhitten.com/blog on how to do sermon notes, complete with a video, so if you want to learn how, that’s a good resource.

This weekend’s project: succulent garden! Found this mid century planter in the trash 😱 and I immediately had a vision of what I was going to do with it. 1 hour and $15 later = this really dope tiny succulent garden. I started small because I’m going to be propagating the succulents in the coming months — if you’re gonna try this don’t fill the planter right away! The planter went on our patio, the only area in the new apartment that is done. The rest is chaos and boxes..😩 send help pls. Anyways, there’s a short tutorial for the succulent garden in my stories. Told y’all I was back 😉
