When I moved to Calgary in 2010 - I didn’t really know anyone except for Edis. It was a new city, new environment and it was a huge change for me. In the last 9 years of living here, I have grown to love this city so much and it finally feels like home. And my friend @first.name.lily does such a good job at promoting this city and she has inspired me to think about my favourite things about Calgary - so I thought I would list my top 5: 1. This view. 11 ish years ago on our second date ever, Edis took me up here to see this incredible view. This was also the backdrop for our engagement photos many years ago - and it still takes my breath away every time we visit! 2. Calgary’s accessibility to the mountains. With Banff, Canmore + Kananaskis only some 150 kms away - we are so freaking lucky to live in such a gorgeous province. People come from all over the world to see the beauty that is at our doorstep. Already so excited for ski season! 3. How clean and accessible Calgary is. It’s always among the top 3 cleanest cities in the world! 4. The food and coffee scene here. There is something for everyone and I love to explore and try new places. 5. The opportunities - people move to Calgary for many reasons - work, education, to explore and travel - and it makes me so proud to be raising my children in such a great city. —— What do you love about your city? #enaielma
