Postacie i atmosfera książki to zdecydowanie największy plus.

It’s two post Thursday for me today!⠀ ⠀ Sooo I’m back from the theme park; sunburned and sick😂. I did however manage to start and finish Breakers by Doug Johnstone whilst there. ⠀ ⠀ I also read The Body lies last night, so thought I’d quickly share my thoughts on these two. ⠀ ⠀ 📚The Body Lies - by Jo Baker. This is a thriller. ⠀ ⠀ This seems to be viewed highly on Bookstagram. I thought it started well but then sort of, lots its way a bit. There was un-necessary filler, and lots of predictable things happening in the book. That said, I did enjoy it and it was well written. I probably won’t remember it next year though. ⠀ ⠀ 📚The Breakers by Doug Johnstone. A psychological thriller. Well. This had me hooked! Raw,gritty, emotive, tender and realistic. This was a rollercoaster ride of a book with lots of depth. I Would read this again and highly recommend! ⠀ ⠀ Do share your thoughts if you’ve read either or are planning to! #bookstagram#readingalltheboooks#reading#bookreviews#fictionbooks#booksofinsta#booklove#bookworm#ilovereadingbooks#readingalltheboooks#librarybooks#greatbook#dougjohnstone#thrillerbooks#summerreading

INSTANT GRATIFICATION by @laurenblakelybooks is coming August 29th!! Read an Excerpt Here: https://wp.me/pax1MW-Dc Blurb: I need a fake date. She needs my late-night expertise. Now, if we can just keep our hands off each other... As the premier best-man-for hire in all of Manhattan, I promise discretion, so when I need a plus one for a couple of "I dos," I turn to my gorgeous, clever, witty best friend's sister. She's my good friend, too, and I lust after her completely. I mean, I TRUST her completely. After all, just look how she's kept her lips sealed about the hot, multi-O night we spent together. Yes, just look at those sexy lips. In any case, we only fell off the wagon once, and it was months ago. I'm sure we can make it through these weddings without banging each other in the limo. Or can we? INSTANT GRATIFICATION is a sexy, standalone romantic comedy!
I just realised it's Thursday, so it is totally appropriate for me to call this a #throwbackthursday post and pretend I planned it that way. 😁 🖤 Earlier this year I was sent a copy of Animals Eat Each Other by Elle Nash in exchange for a review. On Tuedsay I was very fortunate to be able to attend a small gathering in London with Elle Nash (@saderotica) and some other Bookstagrammers organised by @fmcmassociates and @404ink (thanks for the invite). It was really amazing, I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time. Although the glass of wine might have helped with that. 🖤 Hearing Elle Nash discuss Animals Eat Each Other reminded me how smart and complex the story is, while also being a fast read that was easy to get into. Elle is so smart and eloquent, I loved getting more insight to the ideas and thought process behind the main character and story. She also discussed her writing process, and I came away with some really great tips. She also gave us an introduction to Tarot. 🖤 As a complete English lit geek, I am so grateful I got to get to spend this hour listening to Elle Nash talk. It reminded me that I need to re-read this book. 🖤 Thank you so much to Elle Nash, 404ink, and FMcM Associates.
Good afternoon/evening troops! . I am at the airport and whilst waiting for the plane I thought would upload a new picture as I know I’ve pretty much abandoned Bookstagram the past 2 weeks (#sorrybuttotallynotsorry) . This was our 7th trip to Orlando but normally we go for 3 weeks. Cramming the same amount of stuff in 2 weeks has been busy to say the least so I’m very glad to be going home to a long weekend to have a mini-break from the holiday 😂 . My featured read is as you can see is ‘The Devouring Gray’. This is a thriller read (as many of the other YALC books I read) but another I enjoyed. It’s set up very nicely for the sequel too which I look forward to . It’s a thriller but also there’s an element of magic and the link with power so it’s a pretty unique read. I’m not a massive thriller reader (as in it’s not my go-to genre) but I always enjoy them . Also, this book is bloody gorgeous and has pink sprayed edges which gives me all the feels! . QOTD: What’s your favourite reading genre? . #thedevouringgray#reader#bookstagram#bookworm#lovetoread#booknerd#magic#mystery#booksofinsta#bookish#booklover#read#bookstagramcommunity#christinelynnherman#thriller#fiction#readerforthesequel
Ok, today I want to know about your bookmarks. I’m suddenly very curious!! 😂 so I know not everyone uses bookmarks or some people use exotic things instead of book marks, so tell me about what you like to use!! I have used the same bookmark for about five years 😂 I got it from Disney world, from a show called Enchanted Tales with Belle and they gave it to me after I ‘ played’ Mrs Potts in the show (all I really did was stand there and look extremely pleased with myself, I was a lot younger then but I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, even though I’m a lot older now! 😂) * * * ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ʀᴇᴀᴅ: so I’m currently in a short story about all the TID gang’s kids... which is actually super confusing 😂 I like the story but it’s SO hard to remember which kid belongs to which parent 🤦♀️ I think I’ve just got the hang of it, and may I say that Matthew Fairchild is ADORABLE. Bless his heart, he’s so sweet * * * Q: as requested, tell me about your bookmark 😂👍
