........... Vous connaissez ce roman ? Vous connaissez ce film ?
✨ QOTD: How do you organise your shelves? . ••• . I like color organised books, so here’s my attempt at color organising. Most of my books are black/dark so it was easy. I think it looks decent. 😊 But now I’m really into spines in kind of organising, they look very aesthetically pleasing, I might try that soon. 🥰
. . . #bookworm#bookstagram#book#bookaesthetic#bookaholic#books📚#bücherwurm#bücherliebe#bücher#büchersüchtig#büchernerd#reading📖#lesenmachtglücklich#slowliving#cozy#cozyhome#cozyreading#gemütlich#gemütlichkeit#sunday#sundaymood

QOTD: What's your self-care "go-to"? AOTD: A warm bath with bath mix and candle scents that compliment each other. 💛🌊 The warmth feels amazing, and I usually listen to music or an audio book at the same time. When I do get out, I feel like I accomplished something by getting nice and clean! ✳️ REVIEW OF THE INFINITE NOISE BY @laurenshippen NOW LIVE! LINK IN BIO. Synopsis: "Caleb Michaels is a sixteen-year-old champion running back. Other than that his life is pretty normal. But when Caleb starts experiencing mood swings that are out of the ordinary for even a teenager, his life moves beyond “typical.” Caleb is an Atypical, an individual with enhanced abilities. Which sounds pretty cool except Caleb's ability is extreme empathy—he feels the emotions of everyone around him. Being an empath in high school would be hard enough, but Caleb's life becomes even more complicated when he keeps getting pulled into the emotional orbit of one of his classmates, Adam. Adam's feelings are big and all-consuming, but they fit together with Caleb's feelings in a way that he can't quite understand. Caleb's therapist, Dr. Bright, encourages Caleb to explore this connection by befriending Adam. As he and Adam grow closer, Caleb learns more about his ability, himself, his therapist—who seems to know a lot more than she lets on—and just how dangerous being an Atypical can be."
When's the last time you went through your bookshelves and got rid of books? (Like the ones you didn't love or won't end up reading.) . As of right now, I don't have very big bookshelves. They're two smaller ones and then my bookcart and I've found I'm running out of space. 😬 Someday I'll get bigger ones! 🤞 . But last month I really went through them and selected several I either didn't love enough to keep or was never going to actually read. I sold some and I plan on donating the rest. . Anyone else a plant lover? 🌱 . I may not be the best at remembering to water them but I love them and want them all! 😍 This is one of the many babies off a Spider plant I have. It's super awesome how from one plant I've had over 10+ plants sprout. 🙌 Also, I love the fact that my hubs wanted to get an olive tree plant from Trader Joe's and now it's like his little plant baby. I named it Ollie (super original! 😜)
What's the last book you re-read? ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ With RAGE releasing this week, I wanted to re-read ROAR first since it's been so long. I kind of wish I hadn't, bit I'm also glad I did if that makes sense. When I first read ROAR, I absolutely loved it but after re-reading, there were a lot of things that I wasn't a big fan of and it definitely lowered my expectations for RAGE which was good because after reading an eARC of the sequel, I'm not super hyped about the series. If I hadn't re-read ROAR I'd have probably really disliked RAGE, but doing so set my expectations lower. RAGE wasn't bad, but definitely felt like a filler which was disappointing. I'll read the next one in the series, sure, but it's not high on my anticipated titles list anymore. ANYWAY I'm moving on to a series I love and have no doubt the sequel will live up to that. Let me know what you re-read most recently in the comments! ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ #sundayeread#torteen#roar#rage#stormling#yafantasy#novelknightreviews#goreadyourshelf

“Creative people are creative each in their own way.” This book will not tell you how to have creative ideas but how to dismantle your old creativity machine and assemble a new improved one. The purpose of the book as the author said was to help individuals achieve their unending stream of useful ideas and generate those ideas into an almost infinite variety of ways. . The blurb acknowledging how to build a unique personal creativity machine was the reason I was drawn to this book in the first place. Second, I really into non-fiction books lately. . Dismantle talks through four sections categorized as ideation, validation, actuation and building the personal creativity machine. Explaining from how to cultivate wild ideas to innovate in dark corners, from telling a story to finding your true passion, dismantle will guide you in the process of deconstructing the mind and generating a creative thinking system. . The interesting part of the book where the author has shared the real creative short stories of a few of his students who did well in the creative thinking aspect. Some of the other few chapters were so good to read, that I marked all those paragraphs to read again. Besides, the narration was easy and convincing, making me stick to the book until the end. . I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope that it shall not disappoint the readers who decide to pick it. This could be a great read to realize how dismantling may benefit in the increase of the personal creative process. . Happy Sunday!! I hope you had a great day! 📚 . #dismantle#booksofinstagram#bookstagram#nonfiction
