Red, funny, and #harrypotter!. . . I’ve always loved books! My family has so many. It’s so hard to let any go! So I’m wondering, how do you display your books? Do you use book jackets, and if not where do you keep them? Do you display vertical or horizontal? By color or by author? Can’t decide which aesthetic best shows of my collection!
Albertina from @mimosalaneblog has been an old blog friends for years now!!! She has always been on a constant on my blog roll. Ah blog rolls! Remember those? They use to be my favorite part of blogging. I would grab a cup of coffee and enjoy my morning scroll thru my blog roll and catching up with friends. Along with being an old blog friend @mimosalaneblog is also one of the my co-hosts for #chinoiseriechicstyle ! Her home is full of amazing and I mean amazing artwork, pops of whimsy, color and pattern. She is also a photographer that sells her prints on her site. They are super cool! I’m dying to use them in a clients home! Much sure you scroll thru to see peeks into her home and get to know her better!
Finally! One of my paintings in my own house. It seems most of my art never gets to hang in my own home except now. Amazing interior design by the fabulous @superjking #highclassproblems#makingwallshappy
Happy Saturday! 💫 It feels amazing to be off this weekend, cozying up with the family. It’s a blessing to be busy, but there’s also something so rewarding about not having much on your to-do list. So, finally sharing what we did with the curtain rod + curtains I shared to my IG story last week! Well....... it’s covering our TV! ⠀ ⠀ The thought came to me one night, after thinking of ways to cover up the non-aesthetically pleasing sight of a television lol 🤦🏻♀️ Grabbed an antique gold rod off @amazonhome and some curtains from @bedbathandbeyond and this whole project: ~$40 which is way less than a built in cabinet, etc. and to be honest, I love the mystery of.. what’s behind the curtain? A TV, a magic portal, nothing? 🤣 ⠀ ⠀ ✨ A couple tips: Get curtains slightly larger/longer than your tv to be able to get a flowing look, rather than tight fitted curtains. We started with short ones the exact length and width of the TV and just didn’t like the look, try different colors/textures, grab a curtain rod that extends off the wall if your tv is mounted so the curtains will glide easily across!
