Fitness feels different to everyone. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've been working on my Straddle L-Sit on the rings recently and I love how it makes me feel 🙂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 I enjoy being challenged by my own bodyweight. I can feel my core, upper body and lower body muscles all working together, all being challenged. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 I can feel all the strength, mobility and stability training I do come together in this movement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 I love the feeling of freedom I get when my feet aren't on the ground and I'm defying gravity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 I feel happy training like this because I know it allows me to do things I want to do in daily life pain free. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 It makes me feel like myself. When I don't workout, I really notice it and don't feel like myself at all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 Most importantly it makes me feel happy. Happy in my body and happy in my mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What does fitness feel like to you and what makes you feel fit?
I did 12 Pullups for the @viafortis “Pullups for charity challenge”. How many can you do? @sam_snickers @just_voodoo @barlerinamama ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ I did a max rep try this morning to collect some money for @ozeankind_ev 🖤 I am surprised that I made it to 12 (well, for the last one, my chin touched the bar - you can decide whether it was rep or no rep). I ate pizza, pasta, bread & sweets only for one week in Italy, had too much wine, no training and a little cough for a while already. Was crackin' guys? Deadlift attempt n.1: 130KG.  So, this was immediately followed by bench attempt n.3 which did not made me happy at all. (I won't spoil it for you. It has not yet been uploaded.) My mind was still on that attempt. You can see me shaking my head before executing the lift. I didn't had my mind clear which is clearly my fault.  For this reason, I grabbed the bar double overhand grip, which as you know it is not the most efficient way (grip-strength-wise) especially in 1RM testing attempts.  So, expectedly the bar slipped off my hands. I don't think that would be a valid attempt since I didn't make time for the "DOWN" command.  Good news? I smashed my next attempt at 140kg, which really made me happy! You are gonna see that one soon!  P.S.: Strength-wise this weight was a piece of cake for me. Unfortunately I wasn't focused when gripping the bar!  Anyways. That was it for today my dear powerlifter! Train hard, eat right, sleep big and I'll catch you in the next one! Take care! 🍩
