The evolution of a clients hair! When I met this beauty she had been #blonde for a good chunk of her life. When she sat down in my chair for the first time she told me she wanted to go darker. I thought this was a great idea because that depth would really make her blue eyes pop. We started with a #reversebalayage . Going darker can be a shock and it’s never a bad idea to go darker in steps. After she lived with her #darkroots for awhile it was time to make her a #brunette all the way through. As she went on the next few weeks her ends began to fade but she was consistent in coming in to keep her hair toned the right way to make the fade look purposeful. Eventually we built back up the depth in her ends and were able to take her darker and darker each appointment. Soon she was only one step away from black which is where we stopped. Luckily this client can pretty much pull off any #haircolor so when she decided to go back lighter it was my obligation to let her know that going lighter meant she would have to go through period of time where she had a #copperhair. It’s important to know that going from dark to light does not always happen in one sitting. But she stuck with it and now has beautiful #bronde hair with very little copper left. Thank you @heado2 for going on this #haircolorjourney with me. I’m so excited to see what you are going to have me do next!
