I am trying to find my way with my art practice and although I loved the change in style of the piece I posted yesterday it got so few likes. I think it’s because we believe that a child could do it, why should it be appreciated. I feel to progress we need to go back to the beginning sometimes. Today I am having a go at a charcoal sea landscape on this day of climate change protests. But it may be that the production of charcoal is an issue. Many artists material are problematic for example plastic in acrylic paints. Everything we use and consume will need to be changed. We need to go back to move forward. #art#artpractice#charcoal#sketching#sea#landscape#climatechange#plasticfree#change#artstyle#artappreciation#darkdays
