This 👆was my view for the 4 days we were on the Tuolumne Meadows ->Yosemite Valley section of the John Muir Trail: Rock star wife, daring kids, and scenery to knock your socks off. We planned, packed, purchased, prepared, (what other p's can I use) for months, but in the end it came down to being together. And good weather. And enough fruit snacks (I won't say how many we brought, but it was more than 40). . . 1: Setting out on day 2 from Upper Cathedral Lake 2: The only real snow we encountered on the trip near Tuolumne Meadows. 3: Boys portrait. 4: Trees on day 2. 5: Pointing out our route for the next 2 days. 6: Hiking through the scene of a forest fire, but the undergrowth is already returning incredibly lush 7: LOTS of log walking in Little Yosemite Valley Campground with all the through hikers and Half Dome hikers. 8: 💗 9: Walking stick and golden light. 10: Two walking sticks and golden light.
We came. We saw. We conquered. . Our last day in Malaysia was one for the books. While Emily took the opportunity for some much needed her time(she’s just tired of going herself 😆), the boys and I did a “Ride all the rides in one day” challenge at @legolandmalaysia to earn some LEGO toys. The park isn’t that large so getting 20 rides under 5 hours shouldn’t be an issue, right? . . Swipe right to see the aftermath and swipe righter(🤔😉, that was for my grammar loving mom @marlakuresa) for some footage. Click on the link in our description for the whole video. Then pat yourself on the back.

Proud to say after removing all of these wires, the bus still starts! What a stressful time. I had no idea what I was doing. Video to come on removing these unnecessary wires. All the "school bus" stuff is gone! #dostuff#wired#cable#organization
Christmas came early for this house of wild things. Road construction left us a double pile of gravel in the field beside our house 🤩⠀ ⠀ The boys are still outside - now playing soccer and on the trampoline in the yard while I’m inside making pumpkin cookies for breakfast.⠀ ⠀ I’m pretty sure the words ‘it’s time for bed’ came out of my mouth around 7pm but here we are 😅 and honestly, it feels like it’s never too early to learn that this is what it’s all about!⠀ ⠀ Enjoy the weekend, friends 💛
I got to hang with Phil, @jhmgphil, and his family earlier this year as they became one of the featured films for @chispahouse. I myself say that media, especially social media, often lies. Its easy to fall into half truths and seem like your having a better time than you really are. But having hung out and done The Floss with this family myself, I learned this is a family that truly that came together, stayed together, and thrives together. Check put their full story on the last stop of the film tour in Dayton, OH on September 22nd at 7p at The Neon Theater.
