Do you have a dog? . I’ve been teaching Mimi, how to behave on a walk and it’s been 😅. Each walk means 278 stops to correct her. I get that it will take time and practice before she learns it. . You’re probably frustrated that X thing isn’t easy for you right now. . Give yourself time and plenty of practice and you too will become a pro at it. . Whether an exercise, food prep or creating relationships, business or weight loss. . @michellelarrise.co 📸 . #time#practice#coaching#becomeapro#weightloss#relationships#money#life
So you wanna grow that 🍑 !? • • As requested (so much???) tonight I figured I would get this post out for everyone looking for those tips! There are 3 simple things to know when you’re trying to grow your glutes... 1) Train effectively 2) Caloric surplus 3) SQUEEEEZE those glutes girl!! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ - When it comes to training and the goal being to grow your glutes more, train lower body 2-3 times a week. A lot of people think that squats are what make your glutes grow BUT squats don’t isolate your glutes, but they do help grow a muscular foundation for that area. A few exercises to add into your lower body day at the gym to help with growth are hip thrusts, deadlifts, banded leg exercises, cable pulls through and cable kickbacks 🏋🏽♀️ - Calories!!! Calories are super important when it comes to growing your glutes or any part of your body in all honesty. If you restrict, you will not see any growth anywhere. If you are maintaining your calories, your body is going to hold on to the muscle it currently has. Add more calories into your daily consumption and watch those gains! If you are scared to add more calories into your diet then try to track your macros to help you stay on point 🍉 - SQUEEZE those glutes in all of your exercises!!! Sometimes it’s hard to make sure that you are squeezing but I realized when I tell myself in my head to squeeze when I come up from a squat or hip thrust, i feel the burn 5x more than usual. All about the muscle mind connection baby 😎 • • I hope these tips can help you grow those glutes!! Reach out if you need help with getting started 👏🏼
Living life is all about how you play around the shadows. You can either hide in the darkness or peak out to see the light. Life is full of driving forces trying to bring you down. The hardest person to pick a fight with? Yourself. You are your biggest critic. You are the one who controls your fate and how you perceive yourself in the mirror. The easiest thing to do is to give up, the path I follow? Staying humble. Being humble to yourself, your goals, your aspirations and the driving passions in your life are what keep you ALIVE. The gym is where I feel most alive just as I enjoy the outdoors. I have many haters, I have people who are jealous, I have people who critique me, but do I care? NO. Because that’s what being humble is. Stay humble to the goals you set for yourself, don’t boast your ego, and stay true to the things and those that matter. Staying true to yourself is the key to life. Being who you are and not allowing negativity of others to stand in your way of the things you find best for YOU is how you defeat any battle. This week I could count 10 haters. Next week I’ll probably have 50. No matter what, keep your head up. And look into that beautiful sunshine. (It’s still summer, it’ll keep you warm) #tanlife#mymidnightrants
Anyone that doubts that a 20-30 minute workout at home can get results is sadly mistaken. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it doesn’t take hours at a gym to get a body your proud of. This weekend I wrapped up Phase 1 of this new program in doing with my girls. It’s a 5 phase program consisting of 100 workouts, so that means that I hit 20 workouts done (on Friday night). The program encourages you to take progress photos to see changes throughout each phase, so I did that. The results speak for themselves. To be completely honest, I haven’t been to a gym in YEARS! I mean, 5+ years. I haven’t had a gym membership of my own in over 10 years! Once I found the programs that I use now, my life was forever changed. And now, as a busy mom of two, a gym will never be in the cards for me. I just don’t have the time to spend driving in the car, waiting for machines, and planning my own workout plans to get me the results I’m looking for. Being able to fit in workouts in a very short time, at home, that tell me EXACTLY what to do to maximize results is where it’s at for me. People tell me all the time that they could never stay committed doing it at home, but let’s be honest...how many of you have gym memberships that go unused that you pay for every month? So really, it’s not the at home thing. Luckily for me, I have a group of women doing this along with me, that have similar goals, similar challenges (mom life), and we help motivate each other along the way. So if you doubt these workouts actually work, if you doubt you could stay accountable, if you doubt this could work for you, I challenge you to give it a try with us. Yes, it takes some work and dedication, but it’s REAL results! 😄 Oh and if you join us this month, you’ll save $30 on sign up and be set for a whole year. 😉

On a few special days at work, we capture and handle black bears. Sometimes it's due to a habitation issue while other times it's part of ongoing DEEP research. These bears were all sedated at the time in order to collect data on them, each of them safely recovered shortly after. They really are smart and beautiful animals.
