My first ever @sovereigntyglass I never wanted a flower piece until I moved into a new place, hence I moved into a new spot 😎. This is the new @sovereigntyglass #gline to #griddome with sandblasted base and neck.
Remember the awesome Wisconsin book I found at a thrift store? Here it is, styled in my #humblehome 📚 I love vintage books! They can be displayed with their worn pages facing outward or their binding if it has the colors/title you’re looking for! Perfect for adding height to any shelf - this is on top of my entertainment center. And how awesome are the pieces sitting on top? Give me all the textures🙌🏼 Hope y’all are having a fabulous weekend! And if you ever want tips on how to style anything for sale from The Humble Home, please don’t hesitate to send us a DM📩
Alina’s best friend @dsequeir continuing the wave of magic with EarlyDetectionChallenge! 💪🏼🦄💜 . #magicforalina#earlydetectionchallenge Please spread the word and let’s save lives with Early Detection. I nominate @jenna_mbro @nextleveljess and @dpetreucic to continue the wave of magic that Alina has left behind. Here are the rules for #magicforalina Early Detection Challenge: Step 1: Find your favorite poem in Alina’s book, “Magic Whispers” or her instagram @_keep_writing Step 2: Get into a comfortable zone, either in your home at the kitchen table, in bed, near a fire pit, or outside, at the beach, with your dog, etc. You can be as creative as you want, or keep it pure and simple. Step 3: Make a video of yourself reading your favorite poem from Alina’s book. Post it on your instagram feed and share as a story. Then challenge 3 friends to do the same. Make sure to tag Alina’s instagram @_keep_writing, so we can share your video on her page and include the hashtag #magicforalina.

I DO NOT GO TO THE GYM BECAUSE I ATE THE PIZZA (or nachos or chocolate). Why do we as women — literally as we’re eating — already feel guilty, and start talking about how we have to get to the gym, punishing ourselves for enjoying the cake, or chocolate, or cheese or whatever? I’ve always had a hard time with food. I was overweight until my mid 20s and have no recollection of working out or eating healthy. Then I lost 35 pounds through Weight Watchers, and while I felt healthier... I definitely had unhealthy connection to food. I had it in my head that there’s bad food and good food and food you need to work off and boring food that’s good for you. It’s exhausting, and became such a vast waste of my mental headspace. I would think about it for single meal and snack. It’s not easy but if this resonates, stop thinking about the gym or workout classes as a way to repent for indulging in something you love, as a way to get smaller, or have a lower number on the scale. Go because it makes you physically strong, more mentally sane, and because it’s an opportunity to push yourself, prove to yourself how if you keep showing up, you get stronger, and more capable. I’ve really changed my association to food and exercise this past year and funny enough, I’m in my best shape ever at 39 years old. I love seeing muscles forming, and being able to lift heavier weights or do new moves in yoga. I love how it clears my brain and gives me clarity. Eat without guilt. Find a way you love to move your body. Do not continue to invest your mental energy in a way that doesn’t serve you. I see my gram and her friends in their 90s doing the same. In their 90s! Do you want this? Heck no. I know I do not. I tell her, eat the damn cake and enjoy, gram. She deserves it, and so do you. 💗 #ventsesh#modernsavvy#thisisme#bodypositive#athleta#strongwomen
You see what happened was he was getting completely undressed to go to the bathroom and he could not get his shirt over his head. So I am the type of mom that takes a picture first before helping him. 😂 #threenager#emotionalmess
Years ago I had big dreams of doing something meaningful with my life. Helping people to reach their true potential through education and leadership was my goal. Life has a funny way of keeping your passion in front of you no matter the path you decide to take. After college I decided to stay on my retail journey. I’m still following that path but somehow I always knew that I would end up right here. Building a business that gives me the ability to help others see their truest potential and that there is still time. You can still do it. No matter which path you decided to take 20 years ago. I am here to tell you that your story continues. There is always a new chapter to write and a new story to tell. Don’t get stuck in that day to day simply because you feel there is no time and no way to dig yourself out. Get unstuck. Whatever that looks like for you do it. Don’t waste this time and look back wishing you did what you wanted. Find your passion.
