This a modified version of Hannah’s exercise for those who struggle to sit upright in a split straddle position and to challenge your muscles in a slightly different way. . These versions work your #hipflexors #quads and #core muscles and you can’t get to see the block making it even more challenging. These versions are also great for sports #rehab especially for #groininjuries and #football rehab. . 🔥Hip flexor lifts sitting on a swiss ball - Pop a block (or two…three…) on the mat and a swiss ball under your bum. Sit up tall, engage your core and try to keep this posture as you lift the foot up and over the block. 🔥Straight leg raise over blocks - Keep your core engaged and your spine in a neutral position as you lift the extended leg up and over the block and back. . #yoga #physio #prehab #rehab #tgif

#neverstopsmiling I’m forever ramping up this amazing #strengthdrill. I’m working on adding height, double leg lifts and playing with pointed and flexed feet (pointed is way harder for me!). . This drill works the #hipflexors #quads and #core big style and will have you weeping by the end 💥😅😭 start low with the blocks and work your way up. Being against the wall forces you to sit tall (as you’ll automatically try and compensate by leaning back!). So 14 years ago today I had just bought my first house in London with a garage - although it was very narrow. I called up @hrowenferrari and ChrisB brought a 360 round on the Saturday morning to check it would actually fit. A few hours later I went round to the showroom and bought this 360spider. This is an extremely challenging move and require loads of control,strength, understanding of the move and  which muscles you need to engage in order to progress that move. 🔥Dynamic Stretching Drills 🔥 1.Dynamic glute stretch(assisted) I used the band to take some of the pressure and allow me to move lower. If you feel that you are quite sore or stiff, using the band will definitely help you take most of the pressure from your glutes.  2.Goodmornings Goodmornings is a fantastic exercise not only for training lower back, Glutes,Hamstrings but also for stretching out, hip flexors and adductors if used differently.
